Welcome to room 107. I am excited to be teaching 2nd grade, this will be my fifth year here at Northrop! We will ALL be learning together this year!  We will be talking a bit about "Growth Mindset" throughout the year, so make sure to ask your child about it. 

Prior to joining the Northrop community I taught kindergarten and first grade for 17 years at Andersen Elementary in Minneapolis. My family lives in SW Minneapolis and I am looking forward to biking to school along the creek most days. I also enjoy reading, playing most sports, camping and learning.

I will check my email every day 8:40 and 4:00. Most days I will also check it at 2:00. My preference is email, I often forget to check my voicemail because I never get any messages. 

If you are making a change in your child's pick-up routine please send me an email the night before so that I am sure to see it, even if I have a substitute.
