This is a dynamic year of growth and learning. It is a year filled with fun, adventure, and challenges! I am very excited for this year to begin.

I have taught in the Minneapolis schools since 1997, with experience in second grade, first grade, and many years in Kindergarten. It brings me joy to be working in the community and school in the neighborhood where I grew up.

I am a product of the Minneapolis schools, attending Kindergarten through twelfth grade. I am a graduate of Roosevelt High, Go Teddies!  I completed my bachelor's degree at Augsburg College in 1996, and obtained my master's degree from St. Mary's University in 2003.

I am married and have three sons and a dog at home, all of which keep me very busy!  When I am not teaching here at school am I often shuttling them from activity to activity. In those rare quiet moments I enjoy gardening, reading, walking the dog, and biking.
