The first graders love to learn about their environment!

Here are some ways that we teach about the environment in first grade:

• Discussing the weather each day.
• Learning about seasons through scavenger hunts and walks to Minnehaha Creek.
• Learning about animals, plants, and rocks through our science curriculum.
• Taking field trips to nature centers.
• Celebrating Earth Day.
