I will not be sending home any homework on a daily/weekly basis. There will occasionally be things sent home such as a Moon log when we start our Moons, Sun, and Stars unit.

Even though I will not send home a reading log, I do encourage that each and every student will read for FUN each night for at least 20 minutes a night. The reason I will not require a reading is because I don’t want students reading to the clock and my goal is for students to get “lost” in their homework.

Students who still need extra support with basic math facts such as, adding and subtracting numbers up to 20, multiplying and dividing numbers up to 10, should also be practicing these at home until mastery. I may send home activities for students to play if they need additional support in a certain topic, but only as needed.
