Hello! My name is Jillian Harguth and I am a special education teacher at Northrop Community School. This is my 2nd year at Northrop and my 5th year in Minneapolis Public Schools. I am happy to be a part of the Northrop Community! 

I received my Bachelors in Integrated Elementary and Special Education from the University of Minnesota Duluth and started my career at MPS Metro in the Day Treatment Program. While working with students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) I went back to school to receive my Masters in Special Education with an emphasis in EBD. I spent the next 3 years as a special education teacher at MPS Metro in the Residential Care and Treatment Program.

When I am not at school I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes, reading, and spending time with my husband and puppy Norman!
